In the early morning hours of July 14, 2022, the body of 34-year-old Gabriel Raynaldo Johnson of Ashford, Alabama, was discovered by a passerby on the side of the road at the intersection of Morgan and West Meade Streets in Dothan. Johnson had sustained at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso. Investigators believe he was killed at the same location where his body was found. Neighbors in the area reported hearing gunshots shortly after midnight.
