In the autumn of 2020, the life of a young Black man, 23-year-old Ryan Campbell, was tragically cut short in Mobile, Alabama. On the afternoon of October 19th, police were called to the Park West Apartments on Hillcrest Road, where they discovered Campbell and another man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to the hospital, but Campbell, a father and entrepreneur, succumbed to his injuries. The second victim was treated for his injuries and subsequently released.
