In the early winter of 2016, the life of 35-year-old Donny Boyd, a Black male from Mobile, Alabama, was tragically cut short in a seemingly senseless act of violence. On the evening of December 3rd, Boyd was inside a local gas station when an assailant entered and opened fire, fatally wounding him.
