Lynnwood J. Henry, a 70-year-old Black man, left Decatur, Georgia, and ended up in Birmingham in the dark early hours of December 20, 2017, where his life was cut short on Avenue W in Pratt City. According to Birmingham police and the Jefferson County Coroner, Henry was driving west when another vehicle pulled alongside him and gunfire erupted.
