In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Mobile, Alabama, a dispute turned fatal, claiming the life of 19-year-old Tavaris Pettway. The young man, a graduate of Baker High School's class of 2015, was inside an apartment at the Tilman's Park Apartments on Calhoun Road on April 13, 2016, when the altercation occurred. Just before 1 a.m., police were called to the scene for a report of a person shot.
