In the evening hours of November 2, 2015, the life of 23-year-old Juloshiby Dontrell Lawrence, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of gunfire in the central part of the city, police discovered Lawrence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
