These incidents are among several recent shootings in Miami Gardens, including one in April that injured two teens and three adults near Northwest 197 Street and 14 Avenue, and another in March where four people were injured in two separate shootings.
The Miami Gardens Police Department, along with federal and state law enforcement partners, has been actively investigating these incidents. In 2019, a grand jury indicted 22 individuals allegedly associated with the Zone 3 gang, highlighting the ongoing issue of gang activity in the area.
