Jermaine Thirkield, an 18-year-old Black male, was killed in a shooting on the evening of Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred around 7:21 p.m. at the intersection of Macon Road and Schatulga Road. When Columbus Police officers arrived at the scene, they found two male victims with gunshot wounds.
