Wendell Lowe, a 39-year-old Black man, was found shot to death early on September 6, 2023, at the Camelot Condominiums in South Fulton, just outside Atlanta. Police said officers were called to the 1500 block of Camelot Drive at about 6 a.m., where they found him inside his SUV with fatal gunshot wounds. In the first wave of reporting, the circumstances that led to the shooting were still unclear, and investigators treated the case as a homicide from the start.
