In the late afternoon of Sunday, March 24, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the routine of a Baton Rouge neighborhood. Jeffery Doutrive, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot in a targeted attack in the parking lot of the Save More Market on Nicholson Drive.
