In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in New Orleans, on November 22, 2023, the life of 48-year-old Toby McCullum was tragically cut short. Police responded to a call of a person down in the 300 block of South Norman C. Francis Parkway in the Mid-City neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered McCullum suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
