In the winter of 2023, the life of 19-year-old AhmodzionDre Bailey was cut short by an act of gun violence in Shreveport, Louisiana. On the evening of February 23rd, officers were called to Michigan Boulevard where they found the young man suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Bailey succumbed to his injuries, marking another homicide in the city.
