On October 28, 2007, Yosbel Millares, a 28-year-old store manager, was fatally shot during an armed robbery while leaving his job at a Metro PCS store in Miami, Florida. He was attacked by two armed individuals while making a bank deposit. The police initially suspected the crime might have been an inside job, involving someone familiar with the store.
A former store employee, Adrian Rodriguez, became a person of interest after he joined the Miami Police Department the following year, but he was never formally charged.
The investigation remains ongoing, with the Millares family still seeking answers and justice. Miami police continue to urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers to help solve the case.
