In the early afternoon of April 10, 2024, tragedy struck in Prince George's County, Maryland, claiming the life of 19-year-old Carlos Hernandez-Ortiz of Chillum. The young man, a male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds outside on the 500 block of Chillum Road. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:05 pm and quickly transported him to a local hospital.
