On the afternoon of September 15, 2023, a tragedy unfolded in the streets of Baltimore that cut short the life of a young man. Devonte Keith Pulley, a 26-year-old Black/African American male known affectionately as 'Good Baby,' was shot in the 700 block of Dr. Benjamin Quarles Place at approximately 4:20 p.m. The incident prompted a swift response from city police officers who arrived to find Mr. Pulley suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
