On a Friday afternoon, September 8, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Tre'on Hunt was tragically cut short by gunfire in Annapolis, Maryland. The incident occurred around 2:10 p.m. in the 1900 block of Copeland Street. When officers from the Annapolis Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Hunt, a senior at the Phoenix Academy who resided in Glen Burnie. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the location. Hunt was an African American male.
