In the early moments of a Wednesday morning, the life of a young Baltimore man was tragically cut short. George Dukes Jr., a 21-year-old Black male, was shot and killed on September 6, 2023. The fatal incident unfolded around 12:04 a.m. in the 3500 block of Frisby Street in the northern part of the city. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Dukes and another man, who was 57 years old, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
