In the late afternoon of February 13, 2023, tragedy struck in a parking lot in Capitol Heights, Maryland, forever altering the lives of those who knew and loved Brandon Avery Presson. A 30-year-old man, Brandon was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1800 block of Ritchie Station Court. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to the scene shortly before 5 p.m., but it was too late. Brandon Avery Presson was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
