On a late Saturday night in Atlanta, on March 26, 2016, a gathering at a home on Bakers Ferry Road in the southwest of the city turned tragic. Amidst what authorities believe may have been a teen party, gunfire erupted, cutting short the life of 21-year-old Duntavius J. Pittman. Responding to a call around 11:30 p.m. about a person shot, Atlanta Police arrived to a chaotic scene. They discovered Pittman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
