In the early morning hours of November 29, 2014, a gathering inside a home on Richmond Avenue in southeast Atlanta turned into a scene of violence. Marcus Gay, a 43-year-old African-American man, was present in the residence when assailants entered and opened fire. The chaotic and brutal shooting resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left two others wounded.
