On February 8, 2023, 32-year-old Yuanita Salone was found deceased in the backyard of her residence in the 5100 block of Maffitt Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to a call at approximately 12:11 a.m. reporting a burglary at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered Salone's body with apparent gunshot wounds. Investigators noted damage to the home's basement door and signs of a possible struggle inside, indicating a violent altercation may have preceded her death.
