Maurice Cheatham, a 37-year-old Black/African American male, was killed on the night of September 14, 2023, inside an apartment on the 4900 block of Longshore Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The shooting unfolded in Northeast Philadelphia, where police were called to the apartment around 9:16 p.m. after reports of gunfire.
