On February 19, 2023, at approximately 11:50 a.m., 22-year-old San Diego-based rapper Cesar Eduardo Lopez-Sandoval, known by his stage name "Alo Bandz," was fatally shot at the North Clairemont Recreation Center in San Diego, California. The incident occurred in broad daylight near a playground and a youth basketball game, sending shockwaves through the local community.
