On January 10, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 20-year-old Keijuan Franklin was fatally shot in the garage of a residence on the 4700 block of Nogal Street in San Diego's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Two teenagers, a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, also sustained gunshot wounds during the incident but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
