On a Sunday afternoon in Hartford, Connecticut, on May 15, 2022, Jaime Nijel J-Hana Holmes, a 30-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at an apartment building located near the intersection of Washington Street and New Britain Avenue.
