Kelontay Akil Croom, a 22-year-old man from St. Paul, Minnesota, tragically lost his life on March 17, 2016, during a violent incident in Minneapolis. The event occurred around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Logan Avenue and 53rd Avenue North. Croom was involved in a shootout between two vehicles traveling east on 53rd Avenue North.
