Sylvie Ménard, 37 years old at the time, was last seen on the afternoon of October 29, 2004. She was at a licensed establishment located at the intersection of 3e rang and route 359 in Saint-Luc-de-Vincenne. On the day of her disappearance, she was wearing a black Harley Davidson sweater, blue jeans, and black leather high-heeled boots. Her case is one of several unsolved disappearances that have troubled the Mauricie region over the years. Sylvie was a woman with distinct features that her family hoped would make her easily recognizable. Standing at 1.70 meters with brown hair and brown eyes, she had a total of 13 tattoos.
