On a summer evening in Prince George's County, Maryland, the life of 24-year-old Nijah Johnson was tragically cut short. On July 30, 2021, Johnson, a Black male from Upper Marlboro, was outside with two women in the 1900 block of Village Green Drive in Landover. In a sudden act of violence, a car drove by and an occupant opened fire on the group.
