In the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 21, 2021, what began as a birthday celebration for Juan Agudelo Maldonado turned into a scene of violence and tragedy. The 21-year-old male was gathered with a group of friends outside an apartment in Adelphi, Maryland, when the festivities were abruptly shattered by gunfire.
