In the spring of 2021, a burst of violence on a Baltimore street set in motion a chain of events that would take over two years to be classified as a homicide. On the afternoon of May 14, 2021, at approximately 5:32 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 2500 block of Hollins Street.
