In the fall of 2016, a violent encounter in Baltimore led to the death of 29-year-old Shannon Butler. On the evening of October 19, Butler was shot in the 5000 block of Govane Avenue. Despite his injuries, he managed to drive to the 4700 block of Alhambra Avenue, where he crashed his vehicle into several parked cars. He was quickly transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
