In the autumn of 2015, a sense of unease settled over a Baltimore neighborhood as a life was violently cut short. Gerald Stokes, a 38-year-old Black man, was gunned down in the 5200 block of Windsor Mill Road. The shooting, which occurred on or around November 10th or 11th, left the community shaken and searching for answers. The Baltimore Police Department quickly descended upon the scene, launching a homicide investigation into the multiple gunshot wounds that claimed Stokes's life.
