Tre’Von Stewart-Jordan, a 27-year-old resident of San Diego, California, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2022. The incident occurred in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, specifically at an apartment complex located in the 4900 block of Logan Avenue. On that fateful evening, around 9:15 p.m., the San Diego Police Department received reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered Stewart-Jordan with a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of paramedics who transported him to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The investigation into Stewart-Jordan's death revealed a complex and ongoing case. Initially, there were no immediate arrests or suspects identified. However, as the investigation progressed, several individuals were implicated in connection with the murder. On August 31, 2022, Joseph Nisbet was arrested and charged with murder. Subsequently, on November 16, 2022, a 17-year-old boy was also taken into custody and faced similar charges. The case continued to unfold with the identification and arrest of additional suspects.
By August 2023, three more individuals were arrested in connection with the shooting. Tambrisha Jones, 26, was apprehended in Glendale, California, by the Los Angeles Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service. She was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Alongside her, Richard Bell, 21, and Haben Haile, 25, were also identified as suspects and faced similar charges. Both Bell and Haile were already in custody on other charges when they were linked to Stewart-Jordan's murder.
The legal proceedings for these suspects have been ongoing, with arraignments scheduled at the downtown courthouse. The San Diego Police Department has continued to encourage anyone with information about the case to come forward, highlighting the community's role in solving such tragic incidents.
