On June 1, 2021, Herminio Rio, a 43-year-old resident of Fresno, California, was found unresponsive and bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds in an industrial area near Van Ness and California Avenues. The Fresno Police Department received a call from a passing driver around 5:30 a.m., alerting them to Rio's condition. Upon arrival, officers discovered Rio with severe injuries and immediately transported him to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), where he was pronounced dead shortly after ...
