On a late Wednesday afternoon in New Orleans, the life of 18-year-old Dionte Jerell Lewis was tragically cut short. On August 22, 2012, at approximately 5 p.m., Lewis was fatally shot in the 2800 block of Magnolia Street, just outside the Harmony Oaks Apartments.
