Rene Diaz, a 27-year-old resident of Fresno, California, tragically lost his life on May 23, 2015. Diaz was one of the victims in a double homicide that occurred in the Calwa neighborhood of Fresno. The incident took place during a party, where an argument escalated into deadly gunfire. Diaz, who had recently graduated from San Joaquin Valley College and was looking for work, was at the scene to defend a friend.
