Michael J. "Mike" Suchar, aged 56, tragically lost his life on January 29, 1979, in San Diego, California. Suchar was the head custodian at Grover Cleveland Elementary School. On that fateful morning, a 16-year-old girl named Brenda Ann Spencer opened fire on the school from her home across the street.
