John Henry Rembert Jr., a 42-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 8, 2021, in Hollywood, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in West Park, a neighborhood in Broward County. According to reports, deputies responded to a call about a possible home invasion at approximately 2:11 a.m. on Southwest 27th Street near 58th Avenue. Upon arrival, they found John Henry Rembert Jr. deceased from gunshot wounds.
