Scott Richard Rakow, a 29-year-old white male police officer, tragically lost his life on June 30, 1988, in Miami Beach, Florida. Officer Rakow was engaged in a high-stakes undercover drug operation when he was fatally shot. The operation involved an undercover detective attempting to sell $100,000 worth of cocaine.
