In the early evening of December 28, 2021, a burst of violence at a Macon, Georgia, gas station tragically cut short the life of 36-year-old Jacovian Maxwell. An African American male, Maxwell was at the Shell station located at 100 South Heron Street, near Eisenhower Parkway, when he was shot near the gas pumps. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office received a call about the shooting at 6:58 p.m. and deputies, along with paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.
