In the autumn of 2008, the life of 18-year-old Dontay Douglas Monroe was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. A Black male, Monroe was found shot in the 1400 block of Exeter Hall Avenue on October 22, 2008. He was rushed to Sinai Hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
