In the late summer of 2022, the life of Toiannie Odom, a 32-year-old Black female, was tragically cut short in New Orleans, Louisiana. On the evening of August 24th, officers from the New Orleans Police Department responded to a call of gunfire in the 11,000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
