In the warm evening of June 21, 2022, the life of 29-year-old Byron Laird was tragically cut short in the Little Woods area of New Orleans. A Black/African American male, Laird was discovered in the 7000 block of Lawrence Road, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
