Morris Irvin, a 30-year-old man, was found shot to death in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the intersection of Canal Street and Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans. The New Orleans Police Department responded to a call of a man down at approximately 3:30 a.m. and discovered Irvin unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
