In the early morning hours of June 7, 2017, Chad Michaels Cain, a 28-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, was killed in a triple homicide. Known to his family as 'Little Mike,' Cain was found shot to death inside a car on the 7100 block of Monroe Avenue. He was not alone; two other men, Cortez Hanley, 28, and Kevin Murrell, 34, were also discovered deceased in the vehicle, all victims of gunfire.
