Trenton "Bo" McCoy, a 37-year-old man from Lewisville, Texas, tragically passed away on April 12, 2022, at Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born on February 19, 1985, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and later moved to Carrollton, Texas, where he met his wife, Christina Brenton McCoy. Trenton worked as a forklift operator and was known for his love of music, cooking, and spending time with his family.

The circumstances surrounding Trenton's death were the result of a heated argument that took place at his home in Lewisville. Austin Garrett Bovey, 36, who was the father of Trenton's child, was invited to the house by the child. During the visit, an argument erupted between Bovey and Trenton. According to reports, Bovey shot Trenton in the face around 10:30 p.m. Trenton was immediately taken to the hospital and placed on life support. Unfortunately, he was later removed from life support and passed away.

Following the incident, Bovey was initially arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and held on a $25,000 bond. However, after Trenton was removed from life support, Bovey was re-arrested on a murder charge and held on a $50,000 bond. Despite being arrested twice, Bovey managed to post bail both times and was released.

The Lewisville Police Department continued their investigation into the case, but as of now, no further updates have been provided regarding any additional arrests or developments in the case. The community and Trenton's family have been deeply affected by this tragic event, and a GoFundMe account was set up to support the family's immediate needs.

Trenton McCoy's legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the memories he created during his life. His love for music, cooking, and his family will always be remembered by those who knew him.
