Shakur Roje Carter, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on May 31, 2020, in Lewisville, Texas. Born on March 1, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was the second-born son of Roosevelt Brown Carter, Sr., and Erin Lowe Carter. The Carter family relocated to Dallas, Texas, after Hurricane Katrina in 2006. Roje grew up in Dallas and became a beloved son, brother, and father.
