Pauncho Esparza, a 65-year-old Hispanic man from Alvin, Texas, tragically died on May 23, 2017. He was fatally shot in front of his home in the 3300 block of West FM 517 between the Dickinson and Alvin city limits. The incident occurred when Esparza's nephew went to check on an unknown Hispanic man walking around their property and was shot multiple times by the passenger of a black and tan truck parked nearby. The truck then sped away, leaving Esparza fatally wounded.
