On a tragic Monday morning in Decatur, Georgia, the life of 31-year-old Prianna Weathers was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Just after 12:50 a.m. on April 13, 2026, Weathers was fatally shot outside a Checkers restaurant on Wesley Chapel Road. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered her near the drive-thru. Weathers, a mother to a 12-year-old son, was the first victim in a string of what authorities have described as random attacks that spread across the Atlanta area.
