On an early spring day in 2024, a walk along a road in Midfield, Alabama, turned tragic for Damien Antonio Minard, a 43-year-old male. On April 6th, while on Woodward Road, Minard was fatally shot in the 1300 block of the street. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was notified of the homicide and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
